I trained as a painter, studying fine art at Peace College and C.W. Post, then became a weaver and taught fibers at Barton College. Five looms later, I took a stained-glass class—and found my medium. Before long, I traded the looms for a glass studio.
I love how transparent and opaque glass work together, giving each piece its own character. Sunlight adds another dimension, but I want the work to be just as compelling without light shining through it.
After 35 years, the colors, textures, and changing light still keep me coming back to the studio.
